Shepperton Slalom Canoe Club is located around ten minutes away from our clubhouse, and we frequently paddle there in the winter. Many people are members of both clubs and enjoy the physical challenge of slalom training, but also the more relaxed style of ACC's whitewater paddling.
White Water the Canoe Centre is our local kayak and canoe specialist. They sell boats, kit, and other equipment for trips or coaching courses. They are open most days, and we have a 10% off discount with them as club members.
The UK Rivers Guidebook has good information on rivers as well as the grading system. This can be a valuable resource when deciding which river trips you will be comfortable doing.
DartCam is the webcam on the river dart designed so that you can view the levels before leaving on a trip.
TVFreestylers is a local group that runs a website for playboaters / freestylers - however, it can also be useful for information, as well as buying / selling kit on their forum.
Our two international sprinters have now "gone live" with their own web sites, with regular twitter updates from Australia and other locations around the world. Visit them at kristianreeves.co.uk and tomhide.co.uk.
